The Bible – the book of blessings
Welcome to another edition of Empowerment for Living with Rev F B Obende on this 24th day of the month of August 2020 which also happens to be the 107th Day of this divinely directed daily ministration by God to empower His people to fulfil their God given mandate on this part of eternity.
I want to believe that we have in our own little way impacted your life while also praying that whatever God has purposed for you and your family will certainly no longer be delayed in the mighty name of Jesus.
We thank God for the reopening of our churches and places of worship once again and wish to appreciate everyone who have been a pillar of support and encouragement in carrying out this assignment.
As we begin to prepare to wind down on this daily ministration now that our churches have now reopened, we request that you bear with us on some of the changes you will begin to see moving forward.
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
The Bible is an outstanding book full and loaded with the blessings of God for those who read and observe to do the that are written therein.
God told the children of Israel that the Book of the law must not depart out their mouth, but that they shall meditate upon it day and night and observe to do the things that are written in it for by so doing they not only will make their way prosperous, but that they will have good success.
I want to say that there are many books all over the place, but the bible is unique, special and different from any other book because it is one inspired by God, Himself.
According to 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scriptures is inspired by God and is doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” God, Himself inspired Bible writers; he breathed into them and they wrote.
John 17:17 states that “your word is truth” and Numbers 23:29 says God is not man, that he should lie. God does not only speak the truth, He is the truth, Himself and He cannot lie (John 14:6).
Since God speaks the truth and does not lie, and since the bible is His word, the bible is without mistakes, errors or contradictions and that is why Jesus said in John 10:35 that the scriptures cannot be broken.
The word of God is able to make us wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as it instructs us in the truth of God for faith and salvation.
It is a complete Book which no one should in anyway add to (Revelations 22:18) as God will add to such lives the plagues that are written therein.
For everyone listening to me therefore, I want you to know that that Bible in your hands which we make use of on; a daily basis is an outstanding and blessed book inspired by God so you can fulfill your God given purpose and destiny.
It is meant to be used; not to put under the pillow. Read, study, meditate upon it and most importantly observe to do the things that are written therein. We will stop here for now and believe God to build upon this foundation tomorrow.
